AED at UIUC provides many outlets for you to develop professionally and build your network.
From study hours to chapter members can find academic enrichment in multiple ways.
SPEAKER EVENTS
We welcome professors, admissions counselors from across the US, and healthcare professionals to speak to our members. They share tips on applications, advice on things they've learned along the way, and opportunities to shadow them or conduct research. We also have a LinkedIn group for members and alumni to connect with each other on career and volunteer opportunities in the health industry.
CHAPTER
Every other week AED has chapter. Chapters are great ways for members to interact with one another and learn about the pillars and events. At the end of chapters we educate members on various topics from gap year opportunities, nutrition as pre-health students, and clinical opportunities.
